The Making of "Tuesdays with Turtle" Special Part I

Characters:

"Winnie Musashi":

The hero of the story is Winnie the 20-something normal samurai tortoise, a samurai from a distant star.

His life on earth revolves around keeping his real identity a secret (from someone), seeking out something (he refuses to tell), learning about people with the help of the scrungy girl who keeps calling herself "Sumiko Tan", slicing things into small pieces, and getting pissed off when people think he is a turtle, which he is not.

He fights a lot. He uses a katana formed out of Ki, the life energy present in everyone, or so he claims. His fighting style is ruthless and primitive, and animal like, since he is, afterall, a tortoise.

He likes to eat seaweed and looks like a dweeb, but most people who tell him that end up being sliced into half.

Winnie is a tortoise of many identities. Winnie is known to "Sumiko" as Winnie Musashi, where Musashi is more of a middle name than a family name. He fills in forms and lucky draw coupons using the nom de guerre Winnie Houston because he thinks it is funny. When he is not being careful, he reveals his real name.

"Sumiko Tan":

Winnie lives with "Sumiko Tan", a juvenile teenage girl who likes scrungies and blogging. "Sumiko Tan" is a fan of the columnist Sumiko Tan. The latter (and real) Sumiko is famous for blogging about her piles in the national broadsheet. "Sumiko" is famous for being the catalyst for many of Winnie's bloody massacres. And blogging about it.

"K Sasaki":

Mr Sasaki is a security guard at "Sumiko"'s apartment block. He likes to dry his clothes on his no-dachi. He doesn't take his job very seriously and likes to read newspapers while on duty, that is if he is not busy drying his clothes. "Sumiko" is afraid of him because he has a strong glare. Nothing much else is known about him except he is a tortoise just like Winnie.
